Twentsche
(Nanjing) Fibre Optics Ltd has two types of high-performance
optical fibre in its product portfolio: single mode fibre
for long-distance transmission and multimode fibres for use
in local area networks.
TFO
utilises the best processes available to produce the different
fibre types. A preform made in the VAD process (Vapour Axial
Deposition) guarantees a single mode fibre with excellent
optical and geometrical properties, an appropriate telecommunication
medium for the coming decades, suitable for use in all existing
cable concepts.
Multimode
fibres are made with the versatile MCVD process (Modified
Chemical Vapour Deposition) enabling low loss and high bandwidth
to serve in the most advanced data communication systems.
TFO's
multimode fibres are protected with a dual layer coating of
UV curable acrylate, especially designed to provide a low
level of sensitivity to microbending.
An
extensive quality inspection programme performed both during
as well as after the production process guarantees the high
quality of TFO optical fibres. The production process is governed
by a certified quality management system conforming to ISO
9001.
A
logistical system coupled to the quality inspection database
ensures each fibre is matched to specific customer requirements.
TFO
gives full technical support to help successful processing
and application of its fibres.
